Alira Residence

Alira Residence
This residence is located on the upper floors of a high-rise tower in the heart of Phnom Penh, envisioned under the concept of a “Villa in the Sky.” It offers the experience of a private home elevated above the city, with expansive spaces that seamlessly connect to panoramic urban views and natural light.
In terms of materials, the design embraces exposed concrete, timber, and full-height glass panels to strike a balance between strength, warmth, and transparency. Exposed concrete conveys a sense of honesty and contemporary simplicity, while timber introduces natural warmth and texture. Large glass openings bring in daylight and frame uninterrupted vistas of the skyline, blurring the boundaries between indoors and outdoors. Together, these materials create a residence that is both modern and harmoniously integrated with its surroundings.
The landscape concept is inspired by a Japanese garden, reflecting simplicity and tranquility. A centerpiece of this design is the cherry blossom tree, which adds a unique character while evoking seasonal beauty and a deep connection to nature.
Alira Residence is thus more than a living space — it is a sky villa that unites luxury with serenity, blending contemporary architectural expression with authentic materials and the calming presence of nature above Phnom Penh’s skyline.
