CCS Residence
The CCS Residence project began when the client approached us with a story that the house had already been designed and was under construction. However, due to critical design and engineering mistakes, severe structural cracks appeared throughout the beams, forcing the client to make the difficult decision to demolish the house entirely and search for a new design team. The client chose 10 Space Architects, inspired by the studio’s design style and commitment to both aesthetics and technical precision.
The residence is envisioned in a Modern Tropical style, responding to Thailand’s hot and humid climate while harmonizing with the natural surroundings. The architectural layout was carefully planned to align with sunlight and prevailing wind directions, ensuring natural ventilation and energy efficiency. Materials such as natural stone, timber, and expansive glass panels were selected to create a balance between strength, warmth, and openness, allowing light and greenery to flow seamlessly into the living spaces.
The interior layout emphasizes spaciousness and connection, with open-plan living areas oriented toward garden views, while private quarters for family members are thoughtfully arranged to ensure privacy and comfort. The façade design employs raw stone walls and natural tones to soften the mass of the building, creating an impression that is serene, refined, and timeless.
More than just a reconstruction, CCS Residence represents the transformation of a challenge into an opportunity — a new home that unites beauty, durability, and comfort, and ultimately becomes a true reflection of its owner’s character and way of living.

The design of the residence embraces a seamless connection with nature, creating living spaces that open to greenery, natural light, and fresh air. Floor-to-ceiling openings and shaded terraces blur the boundaries between indoors and outdoors, while landscaped courtyards and water features bring a calming presence into daily life. Warm wood surfaces and natural stone enhance the sense of grounding, making the home feel like an extension of its surroundings. This is not just a place to live, but a sanctuary where architecture and nature coexist in harmony, offering residents peace, comfort, and a renewed connection to the environment.
